This program runs over two terms, using group workshop programs to coach young singers about vocal anatomy, health and most importantly function. Course content will include how the body becomes the instrument when singing. In a firm but fun environment each student will be coached how to use and hone their voices when singing and how to establish their own disciplined methods of practicing and performing. This stems from the belief that they complete the program with more confidence and knowledge to bring them success on stage and in life.
Vocal Lab Workshops
With a focus on the development of vocal ability and performance, the Vocal Lab Workshop has a strong focus on vocal technique to enhance performance quality.
This workshop provides an introduction to vocal knowledge with teaching elements of Pacific culture and language, Pacific Indigenous knowledge systems, Pacific storytelling and navigating the Pacific diaspora through singing.
